Welcome to day 19 of the Appvent Calendar. Today we reveal a new version of an old friend in Adobe Creative Cloud Express.

Adobe Creative Cloud Express for Education

If you’re a regular reader of my blog you will know how much of a fan I am of the Adobe Spark offer into education. With the three apps of Spark Page, Spark Post and Spark Video, there’s been so much opportunity for helpful and impactful, evidence-informed approaches to using technology in the classroom that has come from these super-powerful, yet easy to use tools in the classroom.

I’m such a fan that in fact at least one of the apps has featured in every single year that the Appvent Calendar has taken place.

You may have noticed however that just a few days ago the Adobe Spark Twitter handle changed and with it their approach to their tools both on the web and with the apps.

It is a little complicated, but if you are used to using the tools on the web, then nothing much has really changed too much, just you know have more tools available to you, such as those now powered with additional options from Photoshop.

If you are in school and using the iPad apps then essentially, the Adobe Spark Page and Video apps are still the same. Adobe Spark Post however is now the Adobe Creative Cloud Express app.

What’s different?

The interface has changed slightly, but I think for the better. There are literally hundreds of super-useful templates for you to use as a teacher. From templates for making simple posters to resumes, brochures, menus, presentation graphics, book covers, worksheets and even more, there’s plenty to choose from for every teacher.

What’s included?

With Adobe Creative Cloud Express, expect the same ease-of-use, superb libraries of icons, stickers, backgrounds, fonts and extensive libraries of design assets, which you can access as an educator completely for free, unlike some of their popular competitors.

How can I find out more?
